I checked the listing and it was deleted. That said, I was reconsidering buying a new car anyway. However, I found !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and I like it. The thing is, I’ve also been torturing myself watching FH3 videos on YouTube and really want an XB1S. To make things even more complicated, I’ve found !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! on craigslist for $500, and I’m seriously considering that too. I’m kind of at a loss here.

Don’t buy the 60D for $500. Body only sells for $300 or under on ebay quite often. $500 might be worth it with a nice lens.

I have the 50D - it was an awesome camera for it’s time, but compare images from it with a newer lens, and it only compares well for perfectly lit shots. I know it is a whole different animal, but my 6D blows the 50D out of the water.

You can probably find a 7D or 70D for 500 or under as body only on ebay.

Yeah, don’t buy that camera. You can do better for the price, and... in the ad the seller says it’s being sold because he upgraded gear? To what? A 3mp point and shoot from 2002? Don’t buy cameras from people who claim to have upgraded but put the world’s crappiest pictures of the camera in the ad, especially off Craigslist. Don’t do it.

Kit lenses? 18-55 and 55-200? Or, 18-135?

I’d rather have a newer better body with the newer DIGIC processor and a 50mm f1.8 lens ($110) than older processor body and a semi-crappy lens.

Of course, that’s just me and my opinion and those are like assholes :)

Edit: Duh, there is a link. Still not sure which lens it is, but it is one lens and two batteries and a grip. I never use my grip on the 50D, just not worth the weight. You can get those for $30-50 third party.

18-55 and what appears to be a 55-200. This would be my first DSLR, so I’m also looking at a refurb T5i with an 18-55 on Amazon for $350. This seems like the better deal.

I bought a T1i when they first came out, with the 18-55 and 55-200. It was at Costco, so I returned it when I realized that it wasn’t what I wanted at all. I bought a 50D body only, and I managed to buy a 17-40mm f4 L which was amazing for my needs.

For anyone considering a body with kit lenses, I always say save your money, buy a body only and a nifty fifty
